Installation Instructions
1. INSTALL HEADSET MOUNTING SPACER
a. Ensure a min 20mm for spacer on steerer tube
b. Remove 10mm of original steerer tube spacer
c. Replace with the 10mm LITTLE WING steerer tube spacer. Place the remaining original steerer tube spacer on top of the LITTLE WING spacer to ensure that the LITTLE WING front clamp does not come into contact with your stem.
d. With the LITTLE WING spacer now in position, leave it in place to conveniently install and remove the platform from your bike. DO NOT mount the spacer on top of your stem.
2. INSTALL
a. Mount LITTLE WING front clamp to Headset Spacer. Do not over or under tighten. 5nm of torque is required.
a. Rigid seat post rear clamp mounting area.
b. Dropper seat post rear clamp mounting area.
c. Clip size specific seat post clamp insert onto seat post.
d. Loosen platform bolts and attach the rear clamp onto seat post clamp insert.
e. Tighten rear clamp onto seat post spacer. Do not over or under tighten. 5nm of torque is required.
3. ADJUSTMENTS
a. Position stirrups to correct angle. Ensure that the child's feet are clear of front wheel.
b. Tighten elbow bolt (15nm torque) as below. The stirrups must be secure and unable to shift position while riding.
d. Shorten/Lengthen Stirrup by simply remove the stirrup adjustment bolt, select your desired position and refasten. DO NOT attempt to adjust the stirrup length whilst riding. To shorten/lengthen the stirrup strap simply remove the allen key bolts, move strap to desired position and re attach (3nm torque) the allen key bolts.
c. For smaller children, move saddle forward. For older children, move the saddle back. Tilt the saddle up or down to maximise comfort.
4. SAFETY CHECK
It is imperative to perform the 3 step foot clearance test making sure you can safely turn your front wheel, even when the fork is fully compressed. If your bike does not have a front suspension, you still need to perform steps 1 and 2.
